Eric & Juli Smith

Senior Pastors

Called into ministry as a young teen, Eric Smith graduated from Central Bible College (CBC),  Springfield, MO in 1988 with a B.A. in Biblical Studies.  Over the past twenty years  Eric has served the Kingdom of God as a Youth Pastor, Worship Leader and Senior Pastor.  Juli Smith, Eric’s wife of 22 years who also attended CBC and Evangel University, has worked alongside Eric in every aspect of ministry.  The Smith’s have three children, Madison, age 16, Isaiah, age 14 and Maggie, age 11.

Both Eric and Juli were raised in church and are passionate for the presence of God and consider themselves revivalists.  While they are self described as being a blend of traditional and contemporary, they desire to see the power of a supernatural God intersect with our daily lives.  Their passion is to reach those who need Christ’s saving power and to disciple believers into a radical, on-fire relationship with Jesus Christ.

Jay & Ashley Seidler

Worship Pastors

Jay and Ashley Seidler have a heart to see this generation and world transformed through genuine, powerful encounters with the glory of God. Both 2008 graduates of Wright State University in Dayton, OH, they began leading worship together while apart of Chi Alpha Campus Ministries at WSU in 2004. While involved in this ministry, God placed a call on their life to continually seek an outpouring of the glory of God through the marriage of prayer and worship. They have been the worship pastors at Destiny since Easter of 2008.

Jay has a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in French, and Ashley has a B.A. in Modern Languages with an emphasis in French and Spanish. Ashley is currently going back to school for a teaching license and an endorsement in Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). As God leads them, they hope to continue to see the spiritual landscape changed through their gift of writing and leading worship.

Eric & Heidi Dahl

Youth Pastors

Eric was born and raised in a small Pentecostal church in northern Minnesota where as a teen he experienced God in a powerful way that literally transformed him.  Responding to God’s call on his life as a revivalist has brought him to a deeper hunger for God and a passion to see this generation of young people changed forever by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

His wife and partner in ministry, Heidi, shares this passion for encountering God.  Her hearts desire is to see souls set-free and healed physically and emotionally.  The Dahl’s are intent on raising up young revivalists in this generation to impact their world and have embraced the God given mission to bring teens to belief, build them up to belong, and send them out to serve.  They have four children: Rachel 11, Ethan 9, Matthew 4, and a baby boy on the way.

Michelle Rose

Children’s Church Director

Michelle graduated from Wayne High School in Huber Heights and received her BA in Psychology from Wright State University.  Michelle has experience working as an Applied Behavior Analysis [ABA] therapist for children diagnosed with Autism.  Michelle has served as the Children’s Church Director at Destiny for one year and brings with her 14 years of children’s ministry experience.

Michelle has a passion to see transformation in the lives of children as they not only come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but also to grow in relationship with him and be continuously challenged in their faith. Michelle and her husband Dave have been married for 21 years.  They have two sons, DJ and Dalton.
