In 1920, Evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson came to Memorial Hall in Dayton to hold revival services. The move of God was astounding as thousands were saved and healed. This picture shows the overflow crowd at one of these services.
This picture is significant because it not only reminds us of what God has done in our city, but it reveals the hunger in the hearts of Daytonian’s to receive from God. It also reminds us that if God stirred our city like this before – He will do it again! Our prayer is that God will again send revival to the Dayton area that is so great it will transform our city, state and nation.
